Coach Chris grew up just North of Chicago where she excelled in sports, especially basketball, and went on to play in college. She tried CrossFit in 2012 and instantly became addicted and began coaching both CrossFit and CrossFit Kids in 2013. Chis started coaching for CrossFit Lacey shortly after her family relocated to the area in 2016. She Loves that CrossFit is something that everyone can do at every level and pushes athletes to limits that they never knew were possible! Chris finds the community aspect that CrossFit fosters very special because it’s like being part of an extended family. With all of her family being in the Midwest, her CrossFit
family is really important to her. Chris holds a CrossFit L1 and CrossFit Kids certification and has attended various barbell seminars over the years, most recently she attended the 2 day intensive American Muscle Barbell camp. She is a vital part of the CrossFit Lacey team not only as a coach, but also by sharing her leadership and administrative skills to help organize special events and create systems to improve communication within the staff and community. When she’s not working, Chris enjoys quality time with her husband, two kids and fur babies. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, crafting, baking and most importantly, beer.
