GREGG
Growing up, Gregg played different sports but never really landed on one. It wasn't until High School that he discovered weightlifting. He got a small introduction to the Olympic lifts but the programming stuck pretty close to traditional weight-room lifting. After high school Gregg stayed active by keeping a gym membership, playing ultimate Frisbee, flag football and joining a boxing league. Gregg's first real exposure to CrossFit was on Memorial Day in 2015 during the hero WOD "Murph". Needless to say, after that he was hooked! Soon after that he started the foundations class and he hasn't stopped since! Gregg does CrossFit because it is different from any type of fitness he has done before. The results people get when they push themselves is undeniable and CrossFit sets the perfect stage. Since starting CrossFit he has also developed a true love for Olympic Weightlifting! For Gregg, the part of Olympic Lifting that interests and intrigues him the most is how technical it is. One of his favorite things to do is analyze a lift with an athlete and find the perfect way to communicate how to get one step closer to that perfect lift! Gregg is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, has his USAW L1, attended the Dimitry Klokov Lifting Seminar, completed the American Muscle Weightlifting Camp with Jared Fleming and is committed to continue learning and growing!
